Preserve Yourself – Mental Robustness in an Unpredictable Future

In an increasingly challenging world, robustness is no longer a nice-to-have life skill but a necessity.

Mental robustness is about retaining the best and healthiest parts of ourselves when facing pressure, problems, or adversity – or when we become worried, anxious, or fearful.

Robustness is not a magic shield that makes us invulnerable and suddenly able to handle everything. It is about how, despite pressures and concerns, we think and make conscious choices about the way we handle the challenges or problems we face.

We are not all born equally mentally robust, nor with the same kind of robustness, but we can all strengthen our robustness with the right knowledge, self-awareness and tools. This talk will teach you how.

Preserve Yourself - in the 21st Century

This is the time of change. The rules of the game are changing: Technologically, where artificial intelligence is going to change the way we work. Geopolitical, which not only creates tension internationally but also affects competition between countries and companies. The culture where new trends with the younger generations challenge how we usually get together and express ourselves. In the workplace, where the demand for new solutions for a flexible and meaningful working life is still increasing.

As a leader, you must dare to lead new paths. Dealing with complexity. Try things you don’t quite understand yet. Learn while you do it. Make sure you get everyone involved.

To succeed in this, you must maintain emotional stability and mental flexibility, even when it is difficult.

The talk is suitable for leaders at all organizational levels. It will inspire and provide you with tools for developing personal leadership and maintaining calm, optimism, and vigor in the face of today’s increasing mental pressure.
