Specialist, Capture Your Audience

Communicating specialist knowledge effectively can be challenging.

Your audience rarely has the time, energy, or need to understand your knowledge like you do. Most people prefer you to tell them as simply and in as few words as possible what they need to know to apply your knowledge or make a decision.

As a specialist, you must master the delicate balance between being true to your specialist knowledge and communicating the complex in a way that is simply tailored to the people attending your presentation.

In this course, we work on how to clearly communicate specialist and often complex messages, prioritizing what you should and should not include. We will also focus on delivery: how, as a specialist, you can use your delivery and body language to lend credibility, energy, and conviction to your specialist role. We will also cover how to use PowerPoint—both what you put on your slides and how to use PowerPoint during your presentation.

The overall goal is to get you to a stage where you can communicate your knowledge and captivate your audience with ease and engagement.

A course tailored to you

Together, we will devise a course that meets your needs and wishes. The course will alternate between theoretical input, techniques, and practical training, focusing on the individual participant through personal feedback. You will be active participants in each other’s development process.

The Compelling Specialist

Day 1: You learn what good specialist communication is, and how to make an impact using your body and voice.
Day 2: You get techniques to communicate and engage your audience clearly, simply, and compellingly.

HOW?

You learn theory and techniques during two intensive and instructive days. You practice your presentations several times and receive individual feedback.
